New Path Pictures INITIAL SLATE

FOR FILMMAKERS ON THE SLATE

You are on the New Path Pictures initial slate

Getting a film financed is the hardest part of making one. Not the idea. Not the craft. The part where you have to convince people with money that an audience exists, that the numbers hold, and that the risk is worth taking.

We are doing that part for you.

DOWNLOAD THE AGREEMENT

For every project on this slate, New Path Pictures builds the evidence: who the audience actually is, how large it is, what comparable films and series earned, where those viewers already gather, and which brands, funds and partners have a documented history of backing work like yours. Then we put your project in front of financiers, buyers and distributors with that evidence attached.

That is what takes the fear out of the room. A buyer is not being asked to gamble on taste. They are being shown a measured audience and a route to it. That is how projects get made.

01

Being on the initial slate

No fees. The Engine will carry an annual fee later, and for this first group it is waived for as long as your project stays on it. You are also helping shape how the Engine works before it opens to everyone else.

02

What already exists for your project

  • 01

Audience research, sourced and dated. Comparable titles with published performance figures, the measured size of your audience, the niches inside it, and where those people already are.

  • 02

A buyer-facing case. Your project written the way a commissioner, distributor or streamer reads it: what it is, who it is for, what it costs, what stage it is at, and what we are asking them for.

  • 03

Financing pathways beyond grants. The brand, sponsorship, philanthropic and partner categories with real precedent for funding work like yours.

  • 04

A private slate presentation, already in front of buyers and distributors, with the full research one click away when they want more.

03

How it works from here

The Engine reviews your materials and produces a Readiness Score, which measures how ready the project is for capital. It is never a judgment of your idea. If it clears the threshold, a person on our team decides where to pitch it. If it does not, the feedback tells you exactly what to strengthen, and you can resubmit any time.

When someone is interested on terms you find acceptable, we prepare a separate per-project agreement covering the financing structure and everyone's roles. None of that is decided by signing this.

04

What stays yours

Your film, your script, your rights, your creative decisions. We take no ownership and no exclusivity, so you can keep pitching anywhere you like. Your materials stay confidential, are never published, and are never used to train any AI model.

The one thing we ask: if we introduce your project to someone or pitch it on your behalf, do not go around us with that party for eighteen months. We tell you who we approached, and if you already had a relationship with them, it does not apply.
